In October 2023, the River Edge School District was awarded $137,558.19 from the Trees for Schools grant to fund the costs associated with the purchase and planting of trees including planning, site preparation, watering, monitoring and related expenses over a three-year period.
Earlier this week, 42 trees alone were planted at Cherry Hill School with more being planted at Roosevelt School.
